How to Improve Smartphone Photos So Much
Most people no longer even carry a separate camera because smartphone cameras and the software that automatically processes the images are so good at taking amazing photos instantly (well, except for some Gen Z-ers going retro). There are several apps that can add filters to a photo to make it appear even better, but if you want to improve your smartphone photography skills, think about using the RAW format.

Describe RAW
Raw data refers to a large amount of stuff. Many phone cameras take and save pictures automatically as JPEG or HEIC files, which compress and discard certain image data to make the file size smaller. The data from the camera's sensor is uncompressed and unedited when you select to record photographs as RAW files, though. RAW photos have more color and detail to work with because the compression has been removed.
Yet the files can be very large. The app stores offer a wide variety of specialized camera applications for recording and editing RAW files. (More on those in a moment.)
